The KCK Farmers Market is an authentic community focused weekly/biweekly pop up style market that brings high quality, local food and resources to Wyandotte neighborhoods. We make nutritious food more affordable for the community through various food access programs and incentives. We partner with organizations and businesses to create inclusive multicultural programming, celebrate each other, and express Wyandotte County pride through neighborhood engagement opportunities. Vendors offer shoppers a wide variety of products including fresh locally grown produce and value added goods as well as unique crafts and unique clothing.

To encourage civic agriculture in Wyandotte County, the KCKFM collaborates with organizations and farmers to assist in the distribution and acceptance of food assistance programs like SNAP (food stamps), Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB), Kansas Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) and the Market match for SFMNP as well as El Centro Bucks.
Double Up Food Bucks provides matching funds for SNAP customers—up to $25 per day—to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. In the KC metro area, the Double Up Food Bucks program is a partnership between Mid-America Regional Council and Cultivate KC. This program greatly increases the impact of our market. You can find more information on the Double Up Heartland Collaborative website.
Market Match is a program from Cultivate KC that provides extra funds for participants in the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP). Seniors who have signed up for SFMNP just need to visit the market to receive your additional Market Match coupons.
